Also, for the half of my flist that's still part of the HP fandom, I thought I'd share a lovely vid by fabella I stumbled upon by complete accident.  It's HP, it's gen, and it's angst-ridden (of course).  It reminded of those days when fandom was brimming with conspiracy theories, a young wizardboy's fate was yet undetermined, and the dark was rising.  *sigh* 
 

 

ETA: OMG.  WHO READ THE SPN SEASON FINALE SPOILER?!!!?!!?!? &$^%^#$^(#*&(*#)!!$!@$%^  I couldn't help myself!  I'm sure this complusion must be a disability.  The writer's strike must end.  Now.  Then we can still get five new mytharc-heavy episodes in before production *must* shut down for the summer hiatus.  *bites fingernails*

I wonder if Kripke will be upset that that little tidbit is out because it's seemed like he's spent a considerable amount of time downplaying that in a lot of his interviews.

This strike is really unfortunate (although I completely understand why it must happen). I felt like last season was spent getting to know the inner workings of Dean even through the mytharc surface story tended to be slightly more Sam-centric. My feelings for this season was that it was going to be the inverse; we'd get to know Sam better and see other sides of him besides the little brother angst-o-meter. This news just pushes my get-to-know-Sam-better button and it's making me sad that the button is off limits until production starts again. :(

I don't think that such spoilers (especially for series like SPN... let's face it - SPN unfortunately isn't the most popular among the affected series) will have any impact on the negotiations. It's all about money *sighs*... I really really hope it will end soon!

As for the spoiler itself... I was a little surprised because I remembered a quote (from Kripke) that said something like "this" (the spoiler) would never happen...

Okay, that was way cool!! Does it trouble anyone else that I could pretty well give you the ten lines preceeding or following any of the flashes of scenes?! Yes, I've watched the series too many times. This was a lovely piece that made me want to watch an hp flick tonight. Even though I know the ending, it brought back some of the old angst and wonder. But I doubt that will ever go away fully, as I still can't wait to see the last films. Thanks so much for sharing this!! And *sniffs* they showed Justin! Heee!

Not at all. That's what fandom is for. :)

But I doubt that will ever go away fully, as I still can't wait to see the last films.

Me, too. It's nice to have something left to look foward to even though we all know how it ends.
